THE HARRIED AMERICANS BAND IN DOCUMENTARY ON GERRYMANDERING
OAK HILL, VIRGINIA: October 17, 2016

Northern Virginia band The Harried Americans performs the song “Just Change The Boundary (The Gerrymander Song),” written by band member singer/songwriter Chris Anderson (BMI), in a new PBS documentary, “GerryRIGGED, Turning Democracy on Its Head.”

The documentary was produced by WCVE (Richmond/Charlottesville PBS affiliate) and OneVirginia2021, directed by Bill Oglesby, and features interviews with prominent Virginia leaders from both sides of the aisle, including governors, senators, and members of the General Assembly. The 56-minute film examines gerrymandering and the problems that arise from it, as well as the solution and the path forward. The documentary will air throughout Virginia and on various public broadcast system (PBS)stations beginning on October 18, 2016. It will air in the DC area on October 24, 2016, on October 24 and October 30 on The Harried Americans performance was filmed by Steve Pendlebury Media Services at the Epicure Cafe in Fairfax, Virginia.
